Russia – officially known as the Russian Federation – is the single largest country in the world. The giant landmass lies in Northern Asia and stretches into the Eastern part of Europe, bordering a large number of countries including (but not limited to); Belarus, China, Finland, North Korea, Poland and Ukraine. Its 37,653km of coastline covers the Arctic Ocean, the North Pacific, the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea.
